Week 6 Recap: Winners & Losers

by The Executive Director

Winners

Face won $500 and closed gap in East from $1,200 to $400 in one quick week. The Beard of Zeus also won $500 and got closer to the top of the division….Kimmy Gibbler won $300 and inched towards Shecky. Babe had all correct picks but a fine. In a week like this, he’ll take it….Neon Boudeaux won $100 and was the only South franchise with positive moment in Week 6….Rick Moranis took over the lead of the West with a positive week. Also of note, The People’s Champ is not dead yet. He won $500 and is back to even.

Losers

Take a deep breath. The FMFL was a collective -$7,500 this week. Here’s a roll call of those who lost at least $500 in Week 6:

Week 5 Recap: Winners & Losers

by The Executive Director

Winners

In the East, The Beard of Zeus won $400 (all correct picks but with late bets fine), to move up the standings, but still is way behind division leader Patrick Bateman….Larisa Oleynik made a huge move with a $1,000 week. Don Mattingly not too shabby with a $500 increase as well….That’s four perfect weeks in a row for Boss Hardigan, who reportedly makes his bets right before his weekly Mensa meeting. Also of note, Neon Boudeaux’s wild card win puts him into contention….and in the West, Kenny Powers continues to lead the way, now with a $600 lead on the rest of the division.

Losers

No one had a huge setback in the East this week, so we’ll list Yaz in this category because he just can’t seem to get out of the hole he’s dug for himself….Babe and Bayonnaise continue to struggle and I see wild card bets in their near future….Chalky Studebaker, we hardly knew ye. Another winless week and to the bottom of the South….Both T-Ferg and Mr. Marbles hoped 2017 would be more of the same past success they’ve experienced. Instead, they are dwelling in the West cellar.
