Week 4 Recap: Winners & Losers

by The Executive Director

Winners

There was lots of positive movement in the East. Chris B. Corey was perfect, Face won $500 for the second straight week, and division leader Patrick Bateman was perfect as well, and is running down the dream of an being the overall leader….Kimmy Gibbler, the consummate American girl, won $500 but is still $600 off the pace of Shecky in the North….Boss Hardigan continues his domination of the South, and is proof that even the losers get lucky sometime….and in the West, Kenny Powers won’t back down. He won $500 and jumped into the division lead.

Losers

The only negative movement in the East in Week 4 was Judge Smails, who dropped a mere $100. He has yet to get hot but seems to be on the brink of a perfect week, and the waiting is the hardest part…..In the North, Blossom Russo had to listen to her heart, but it led to a winless week and a spot in the cellar….Chalky Studebaker and Kiko Garcia both lost $500 and are free fallin’ down to the bottom of the South standings….And T-Ferg dropped $500 to move into last place in the West, $2,200 off the pace after four weeks, but T-Ferg, you don’t have to live like a refugee.

Week 3 Recap: Winners & Losers

by The Executive Director

Winners

Face got back into the winner’s circle in the East with a perfect week and moved up to second place, but he’s still $1,000 behind division leader Patrick Bateman….No one surged in the North, but Shecky continues to climb up the standings. He now has a nice $400 cushion….Boss Hardigan was the benefactor of a narrow Atlanta win in the closing seconds. He was perfect for the week and is now up by $600 in the South. And maybe Karl‘s comin’?….A big week for The Notorious ABT, winning $500 and taking control of the West, for now.

Losers

With 10 underdogs covering this week, there were plenty of losers, starting with The Beard of Zeus and Chris B. Corey both going winless and falling farther and farther behind in the East….Larisa Oleynik dropped $500 and is now in the cellar of the North Division….Thine went 1-for-5 in Week 4 and added a late bets fine to boot, dropping him to last place in the South….Mr. Marbles and T-Ferg continue to slide down the standings in the West and could be candidates to pull the wild card bet trigger in the coming weeks.

Week 2 Recap: Winners & Losers

by The Executive Director

Winners

Patrick Bateman continues to set the pace in the East. He’s perfect through two weeks and has a large lead on the rest of the pack….Shecky rises to the top of the North with a flawless Week 2….In the South, Boss Hardigan, Chalky Studebaker, and Thine all had +$500 weeks, with the Boss sitting atop the division tied with two others….and in the West, Dr. Oge jumped up to second in the standings with a perfect week, closing the gap on division leader Rick Moranis.

Losers

The Beard of Zeus came back down to earth. After a perfect Week 1, he went winless in Week 2. Yaz dropped another $500 as well and after a fortnight is $2,100 off the lead in the East….Babe keeps going the wrong direction in the North and needs a strong Week 3 to get back into it….Karl Farbman eked out $100 in Week 2, but it wasn’t enough to get him out of the cellar in the highly competitive South….and in the West, The People’s Champ went conservative with a five teamer, but went 1-for-5.
