The Postseason Report

by The Executive Director

Gentlemen – Another regular season has come and gone, and 2025 was not for the faint of heart. The second half in particular was rough going, with most of the league suffering week to week. Less than half the league finished in the positive, and less than half the league won their wild card bets. In some of the division races, it was a matter of waiting out the rest of the franchises and being the last man standing.

Here’s a breakdown of how the league did as a whole each week:

Week 1: +$400
Week 2: +$2,900
Week 3: -$1,800
Week 4: -$2,600
Week 5: -$5,800
Week 6: -$900
Week 7: -$100
Week 8: +$4,100
Week 9: -$6,000
Week 10: +$5,300
Week 11: -$2,500
Week 12: -$4,100
Week 13: -$2,100
Week 14: -$3,300
Week 15: -$1,200
Week 16: +$3,100
Week 17: -$3,400
Week 18: +100

That’s a cumulative total of -$18,100.

Week 17 Recap – Postseason Update

by The Executive Director

One week to go and a lot to be decided. Here’s where the postseason races stand:

East – Biff Tannen and Tapkas McGuiness continue to play the conservative game and stay close. Biff currently has a $100 lead If this were to end in a tie, Biff would have the advantage. The Beard of Zeus is technically still within striking distance as well. However, the one to watch is OJ. He has his wild card bet and a $1,000 surge to capture the crown is possible.

North – Neon Boudeaux fumbled the lead he has held for the majority of the season after losing his wild card bet. Now, The Big Hurt holds a $200 lead over Neon, a $300 lead over Bud Fox, and a $500 lead over Rick Moranis. Both TBH and Rick still have their wild card bets. Anything can happen here.

South – It’s a two-horse race in the South with Roy Donk $100 ahead of Mr. Marbles. Roy has a substantial winning percentage advantage if there were a tie. Whoever comes in second is likely to have clinched a playoff spot.

West – Yaz has the largest division lead, up $1,000 over The Notorious ABT. Yaz still has his wild card bet.

Overall – Yaz holds the lead over Roy Donk and Mr. Marbles. Yaz still has that big bet

Wild Card – There still could be major shifts in the wild card spots. Chris B. Corey is currently holding the last spot at $500. Of those trailing, OJ and Rick Moranis both could make big moves with Week 18 wild card bets.

Week 16 Recap – Postseason Update

by The Executive Director

Just two weeks left in the regular season, and here’s an update on the postseason races:

East – Biff Tannen held his lead on Tapkas McGuiness as each went 4 out of 5 in Week 16. OJ and The Beard of Zeus are both at $200, but both have their wild card bets so there is still a lot to be decided in the division race.

North – Neon slipped a bit last week, but Bud Fox lost his wild card bet. The Big Hurt is rising and seems to be Neon’s biggest competition. Both TBH and Neon have their big bet available.

South – Roy Donk was perfect so he still holds the South lead, but Mr. Marbles won his wild card bet for a $600 week and to pull within $400 with two weeks to go. Larisa Oleynik still hanging around but will need to get hot.

West – Yaz now has a $1,300 lead on the West and can go into his shell and play it conservative to win the division.

Overall – Yaz is up just $200 on Roy Donk after Roy’s perfect week. Mr. Marbles is in the mix as well. Yaz is the only overall contender that still has his wild card bet at his disposal.

Wild Card Race – Some shifts here after wild card bet wins and losses in Week 16. Mr. Marbles, Larisa, and The Notorious ABT are at the top of the heap, closely followed by Tapkas McGuiness, Chris B. Corey, and Ted DiBiase. The final spot is at $700, and the crowd on the outside looking in will need to close strong in the last two weeks. The Big Hurt, OJ, and The Beard of Zeus are the first three out, but all three have yet to use their wild card bets.

Week 15 Recap – Postseason Update

by The Executive Director

Just three weeks left in the regular season, and here’s an update on the postseason races:

East – Biff Tannen got hot in Week 15 to jump into the lead but Tapkas McGuiness is right behind him. Those two do not have their big bet available, but both OJ and The Beard of Zeus are within striking distance and do have their wild card available.

North – Neon has been idling around $1,000 for the last month or so, and Bud Fox is starting to make his move, now just $500 behind for the division lead. Both have their wild card bets available. The Big Hurt is also still in the conversation.

South – Roy Donk has slightly pulled away from Mr. Marbles and currently enjoys a $500 lead. Marbles has his wild card bet. Larisa Oleynik has hung around and is within earshot of the leaders. Mitch Conner, who has been in a tailspin the last two weeks, isn’t out of it yet and can exercise his wild card bet.

West – Yaz has created a buffer between him and the rest of the division and also has his big bet. Will he even need to use it?

Overall – Yaz leads the rest of the pack by $800. Roy, Neon, and Marbles are the biggest threats for the overall, but only Neon and Marbles have wild card bets left.

Wild Card Race – A lot to be decided here, and The Notorious ABT has the final spot at $300. Obviously there’s an advantage for those that still have wild card bets to use these last three weeks
