Super Bowl Standings

by The Executive Director

Commentary: Well, both favorites covered in the Conference Championship games, and Larisa Oleynik’s perfect playoffs continued. She’s on top going into the Super Bowl. Babe and Karl Farbman, $500 and $600 behind, are the only franchises within range for the title with one game to go. Larisa can finish no worse than third, so she’s in the money.

Ron Mexico and a plethora of franchises at $100 still have a chance to place second or third, as there can be a $1,000 turnaround in the final week.

Conference Championship Weekend

by The Executive Director

Commentary: Larisa Oleynik kept her perfect playoffs going, winning another $500. On Sunday, not one franchise in the FMFL cashed a correct bet, which sunk most of the league. Bayonnaise is bringing up the rear after losing $500. The Beard of Zeus and Kiko Garcia also dropped $500. Karl Farbman won $500 and is in third place, $600 behind Larisa. Babe is in second, $500 behind the leader after taking a fine for late bets.

Two weeks to go, and now we come to the pivotal Conference Championship Weekend. For Larisa, she can try to play keep away and coast into the Super Bowl with the lead. For everyone else, they need to make up ground in order to be within striking distance going into the finale. Two games to bet – and so everyone is making a $300 bet and a $200 bet. Good luck to all. Here’s the current standings:

Larisa Oleynik $1,000
Babe $500
Karl Farbman $400
Ron Mexico $200
Boss Hardigan $0
Kiko Garcia $0
Mr. Marbles $0
The Beard of Zeus -$300
Bayonnaise -$600
